Landline down again - urgent

I am reporting to the powers that be that my landline is down again.

When I dial the number it will take the first couple of numbers then a loud bleeping constant noise comes in and I cannot connect\make any calls.

Sorry to hear you're having some issues with the landline.

Can you confirm if you're able to receive calls okay? 

Any particular numbers that you're unable to call?

Have you tested another phone handset?
