Home phone beeping but no voicemail message

If we receive a voicemail message on our landline, our phone beeps when we pick up the receiver.  For the past few days, our phone has been beeping constantly even though there is no voicemail message.  I have disconnected and reconnected our phone but the beeping remains, and no-one has left us a voicemail message for some time.  How can I stop the beeping noise?  Thank you.

Sorry to hear of the phone line issue. 

We've ran some tests in the background, should be fixed. Can you let us know if not though please?

No it is not fixed, still making a beeping noise.

In order to look into this for you further, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
