Hi,

We are aware that some customers are experiencing issues with their email service and are very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing. Our teams are working flat out to fully restore all emails as soon as possible.

Same here (Leeds). Virgin clearly don't care about email as constantly having crashes, periods of non availability. Really doesn't work very well. Merger with O2... focusing on broadband and TV stuff... Wondering how long they will continue to offer emails at all?

I lost mine on 19th and have not had any restored up to now, email is now not working at all again after last night's 'essential work'!!

Our teams were working through the night to complete planned and essential work to our email service. This was carried out overnight to minimise disruption for our email users, but unfortunately we have since encountered some technical difficulties this morning which means email users may be experiencing intermittent issues with their email service. We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing and our teams are working to resolve it as soon as possible.

Same for me! What a shambles. But should any VM user be surprised by the reliably unreliable service?

Side-note: was actually surprised to receive, for the first time ever, that email from Virgin Media, flagging maintenance work.

Why no email last week, apologising for the 48-hour outage?

VM's sense, or understanding, of customer service is non-existent.

Thanks John - but that info is fairly useless unless you can tell us when it will be restored. 2 weeks ago when the same thing happened it was out most of the day (and I got no compensation) - although I would rather have it running than compensation.

me here - ntlworld.com in Nottingham. They need to provide compensation for this shambles.

Yes I cant access emails via outlook or VM account, did not get any email re maintance. Like others not confident that Virgin can sort this out or will inform us what is going on. Lucky my package with VM is ending next month.
