Junk mail not being filtered out

Been having a ton of junk mail last few months. Really obvious stuff all similarly formatted 'you have won a ninja air fryer,' etc.

Why is this obvious junk not getting filtered by VM?

@hotmud Are these spam emails appearing in your inbox or the spam folder?

If the former check you spam settings in VM webmail to make sure that spam is set to be sent to the spam folder.

In my experience I get far more spam via my Hotmail accounts than through VM.

Yes inbox. They're not getting sent to junk mail.


I haven't changed anything in my VM settings. Everything else is getting filtered ok, although some mails from my contacts are going to junk.
