Having just received a (undated) letter to day telling me VM are 'removing additional accounts from My Virgin Media' by 06/12/2024, I called in to ask what this meant? The person I spoke to told me my blueyonder.co.uk email address would be removed on the above date. I told her this was not acceptable as it was used by many bodies to communicate with me.
This gives one just 9 days to react.
I then spoke to 2nd line in Swansea who asked for a copy of this letter. They seemed unfamiliar with this matter.
It seems this letter is a mistake and nothing to do with emails just duplicated VM accounts which it says I have but that

No, that letter is nothing to do with closing VM email accounts. Sad;y from previous experience I am not surprised that VM support staff were unaware of the letter and what it really means and merely fobbed you off.
My understanding is the phrase"additional accounts" refers to additional "My Virgin Media" accounts which do not have a VM email address associated with them. So as long as your Blueyonder email account is linked to your current VM broadband account it is not going to be closed down in 9 days.
I am sure you know this already but you can see the "additional" My Virgin Media and email accounts linked to your VM broadband account by signing into the My Virgin Media account where you view your VM bills, then:
