Does getting sky sports through just the virgin stream still give you access to Sky Sports?

I have broadband only with a virgin stream box. If I add the sky sports stream package will I still get access to the sky sports app?

I want to get Sky F1 but I want to be able to switch between the onboards which I think is only available in the sky sports app?

    Also with this is there any option start stream from the beginning? If I miss the start of a race can I go back to the start when it's still going?

    I've currently used f1tv and can see all the on boards, get all the data channels, access sky and f1tv commentry, play, pause, skip forward/backward, play from start even when the race is currently on. Only thing is it's just HD and not UHD, and I don't get to see the sky broadcast before and after the race (no martin brundle grid walk)

      If you have Sky Sports via Stream you will be able to use the app, you will also have the ability to start from the beginning.
