I am unable to turn off the audio description on ITV1 (103) on my Stream Box. I have tried everything including a factory reset. Using the button with the three dots on the remote control on ITV1 (and ITV1 +1) does not reveal the audio options as it does on the other channels. Any programme that contains an audio description on ITV1, including films and soaps are unwatchable on the stream box and I may have to return it. Can anybody help please?

Hello, this has happened to us from last night. We've done nothing to tv. Just came on all of a sudden and we cannot get it off. I didnt even know this was a thing. Im commenting to keep an update for a solution. Have you contacted virgin?

We have also got this issue ! Tried everything, but nothing works. All audio description options are off, yet still have it. Only on ITV1

It looks like they don't have the dolby audio sound on ITV1 [I'm on London, it may vary by region] and that is the one that auto defaults to. I assume there is some fault that has lost that sound.
For what it is worth, neither ITV2 nor ITV3 have Dolby audio on Virgin Stream here, but because they haven't got audio description then the issue wouldn't be noticed. ITV4 looks fine.
The broadcast version of ITV1 is fine.

I am unable to turn off the audio description on ITV1 (103) and ITV1+1 (303) on two streaming boxes.
Using the button with the three dots on the remote control on both channels does not reveal the audio option as it does on other channels. Any programme that contains an audio description on these two channels have a constant audio description, great utility, if only it could be turned off if not required.
Changing the 'Audio description' in the main Accessibility settings doesn't make any difference either.

Same thing has happened to me in the last couple of days, it was fine before then. It is really annlying.
