I am unable to turn off the audio description on ITV1 (103) on my Stream Box. I have tried everything including a factory reset. Using the button with the three dots on the remote control on ITV1 (and ITV1 +1) does not reveal the audio options as it does on the other channels. Any programme that contains an audio description on ITV1, including films and soaps are unwatchable on the stream box and I may have to return it. Can anybody help please?
Happened to us three days ago, tried absolutely everything and nothing works, there is a suggestion it's caused by ITVx, it isn't!!! This only appears to effect the streaming puck? I can confirm this, the Tivo box is fine, needless to say this is most annoying. Urgent help to resolve the issue is desperately required.
I have TV360 boxes which operate on the same Horizon system as the Stream boxes. I've just tested ITV3+1 and AD was on although the option was switched off.
Looking at the options via the contextual button (3 dots) clicking on Audio I could see that English Stereo was highlighted with a tick.
When I changed that and clicked on Audio Description - Stereo so that option was highlighted with a tick, it actually turned off the AD.
Hi same started on my stream boxes 2 days ago, contacted virgin through chat....they were no help just said they can't do anything remotely. Tried setting AD showing as off, tried three dots no joy there either shows as of. Virgin need to sort it out its annoying!
