I am the primary account holder, and since Saturday, my e-mail is not working correctly on desktop (Edge)/laptop (Chrome). No issues with secondary e-mail accounts (wife and daughter), only mine...!
Cannot reply to, forward or delete any mails - mouse hover on the grey icons shows a "No entry" mouse pointer...
Cannot compose an e-mail - when I click on "Compose" I get the error below
Everything does seem to be working fine on my i-phone, albeit a little slow to connect/update, but it really is a pain if I need to send files/photos/scans that are saved on desktop/laptop - having to send from secondary account to primary account, pick up on my phone, save the file to my phone, and then send from there.
Last update from VM on the pinned thread was on Friday 30th June - 3 days later, and no further updates as far as I can see...? Can't be a browser issue, as only a problem with my e-mail, not the others - VM really need to sort this out, as I can see in the forum that the number of disgruntled (that's putting it politely) customers is growing...
Since the maintenance on Friday. Emails keep saying send/receive error and not able to use my emails at all. Not happy and any help would be appreciated.
I have been having email problems for a week or so. Emails are coming through erratically long after they have been sent and some emails I should have received haven't come through, and they're not showing in the junk folder. Email on my Samsung phone are even worse and don't sync with my laptop emails and I have tried syncing. Some emails show on my laptop and not my mobile and vice versa. I'm losing patience and getting very fed up. How can this be fixed?

I think it's how Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced their engagement. We can probably expect some announcement about Conscious Uncoupling about VM's email service fairly soon...
I received a message from Virginmedia saying email wouldn’t be available as they were doing some upgrades. Great, I thought. Well, since the work has been done email hasn’t been working properly so things are now noticeably worse. Emails not sending, huge lags between sending and receiving, email server not connecting etc. Great upgrade. What did they do? Any idea when it’s going to be fixed?
Just like the title asks, with the email going belly up, are we going to get some sort of discount on our next bill?
This has all been VERY inconvenient, I think some sort of discount is in order. I don't want to pay a full bill after part of my service has been missing.
bytor Highly unlikely as such compensation is usually tied to the amount you pay for the service. Virgin Media Mail is a free add on to their broadband customers who joined before May 2022 when they stopped providing it to new customers.
I tried to send a document on my blueyonder web mail. It refused to go the response being server not accepting files or something similar. I then used my iOS mail app and it went successfully.
