I'd like to have my primary VM email address deleted please (it has been comprehensively "pwned").
I understand that this is possible via a ticket raised by the VM forum team.
It's an old ntlworld address and my VM account's only VM email address. I am a current VM customer.

As stated in the link you posted Primary email accounts cannot be deleted as long as the virgin media broadband account remains active.
With all due respect it's not how I read the thread:
"If the email is your primary Virgin Media address (not account email), then you will not be able to delete this, and we'll need to raise a ticket for you."

When it comes to deleting email addresses, any primary email address connected to an active Virgin Media broadband cannot be deleted. We are only able to delete primary email addresses if they are connected to a disconnected account that's been disconnected for more than 90 days. We do this by raising an IT Ticket.
If the email has become compromised, we would recommend following these suggestions here to safeguard the account.
