Predatory Renewal Prices...

1 Gbps Broadband - current price £48/mo. Available to new customers at £38/mo.

End of contract price £90/mo, speak to renewals team who can't do better than £55/mo.

Competitors all want £38/mo or thereabouts, so I've signed up with EE. What a waste of everyone's time.

      Hi Tom,

I spoke to the renewals team on the phone yesterday - they couldn't do better than around £55/month - that's 14% more than I'm currently paying and 45% more than a new customer would be paying.

It's a hassle needing to book a morning off work for an OpenReach engineer to come out, but it'll save me £300 over the next 18 months.

If you're interested in saving me the hassle of an engineer visit and keeping me as a customer then you'll need to match the new customer price (which happens to be the same as EE are offering). Please reach out of you're able to do this, but otherwise I'm not interested spending another 45 minutes on the phone to be told that the "best price" you can offer is 45% more than a new customer / your competitors.
