Renewal Offer Prices Misleading

My contract has expired, so I took a look at My Virgin Media to see what kind of renewal offer I would get.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the renewal offer was slightly lower than what I'm currently paying, so I clicked through to renew and... the price suddenly jumped right back up to what I'm currently paying.




Is there something wrong with this process (i.e. it's not carrying the offer through correctly to the order process), or is this just extremely misleading?
