What is IP range 192.168.0.1-9 used for
I can see from the DHCP list, that addresses start at 192.168.0.10 and there are 245 CPE's
However I would like to know if the addresses below 192.168.0.10 are used for anything specific other that the routers address on the first one and can I use one of these addresses for assigning a second router, or do I have to turn one of the addresses over 192.168.0.09 into a static address by way of the reserved rules?
example would be 192.169.0.10 which is not used on my DHCP list
You can certainly use these addresses, could be used for devices that have a fixed IP address in their network parameters. If you really want you could change the DHCP range to also use this addresses if the hub setup lets you. I use my hub in modem mode and in my router I only have a small range for DHCP, 3 to 20.
