red light on media hub

Hi

A permanent red light is lit on my virgin media hub. Tried reset etc and no change. Ive spoken with chat and they just tell me to monitor it. Appears to be causing some intermittent wifi connection problems. Any help?

  • If the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, the Hub should be swapped out. This red LED is the overheat warning and should be working correctly. It is a potential risk and as such should be managed as such.

    Is this a Hub 3 ? 

    If YES login to the Hub 3 admin menu and run the Network diagnostic tool 

    Share a screen shot of the report for :  Temperature
