Red light on Hub 3

Today, my Hub 3 has started showing a constant red light. It's in a well ventilated space ( the same space it's always been in ), and feels slightly warm on the top. I've tried turning off the power, then tried the pin-hole reset, but the red light persists. The hub is working fine - just the constant, worrying red light.

Can I have an engineer visit, or a replacement hub, please ?

I have literally just experienced the exact same thing. Sent back my old Hub3 after promptly receiving a replacement.

Now. None of my smart home devices work and I seem to have opened up a whole can of worms/issues.

Incidentally, despite the red light on the Hub, it was stone cold and not causing me any issues whatsoever. So yeah. Please consider this before changing if it's likely to affect you.

When a replacement Hub is sent, just set the SSID and passwords to be the same as the old Hub.  This should work with the existing devices.  Also note after setting the new SSID etc.  all devices should be rebooted.

And now, my wifi no longer works. When I do the pin-hole reset, it goes through the normal boot-up, but right at the end, the wifi light on the router flickers on and off a couple of times, before all I am left with is the red light once more. This momentary flickering of the wifi light never used to happen, so it must be linked to the red light issue

If the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, the Hub should be swapped out. This red LED is the overheat warning and should be working correctly. If you wait here a couple of days a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.
