Red light on hub 3

I've got the same problem - router is well ventilated, have tried turning off and on, and the pin hole reset. It's hot and the connection is bad. I think I need a replacement - had this one since 2017. Can you help please?

    Just to update the thread, I've booked an engineer visit for you to come out and have the Hub replaced. You can find confirmation of the visit via your 👉 online account.

    Please ensure there is someone over the age of 18 present at the time of the visit. If you need to change or cancel your appointment let us know.

    If you do miss an agreed appointment for any reason, a £25 missed appointment charge will be applied to your account on the day of the appointment.

    A warm welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post. 

    I am sorry to hear you have an issue with the red light on your Hub 3. This is an overheating indicator and for anyone who experiences the same issue and may be unaware, we ask that the below steps are followed in the first instance:

    •             Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub.
    •             Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location and out of direct sunlight, if possible. 
    •             Switch the hub back on at the power. The Hub should now operate normally.
    •             If the Hub does not boot up or boots back up and the red base light persists, then we will arrange a replacement.
