Red Light on Hub 3

Red Light on for a couple weeks

Tried the recommended resets and reboots. Area is ventilated and out of sunlight.
Hub is warm to the touch in a few places as well as the connecting port for the fibre.
Onboard testing says temperature is ok.

If we can request a replacement or upgrade be sent for self-install that would be appreciated.
Or if an engineer is require to attend, then we can schedule that in also.

Kind regards,
Daniel

It's usually warm to the touch but not hot. You did the right thing to check the monitor. There's been a number of reports of the red light coming on with Hub 3s so it's probably an age thing.  BTW that's a coaxial cable not fibre.

Coaxial, definitely what my 5am brain meant!
I read a lot of the posts and messages regarding the LEDs so figure it is not an immediate issue. I have seen minimal disruption and no speed loss, but with the fact it is showing as a temperature issue incorrectly means there is no reliable way of knowing if there is a real temperature issue in future.
