Red Light in HUB 3

Hi

My Hub 3 has been displaying a red light for two days. I did all sugestions from your online help. I trying manage engineer appointment but can't win with your system. Still asking me for check my status... etc.

Still have a internet, but sometimes  wi-fi was disconnected.

Hub 3 is hot? Hmm In my opinion it seems slightly warm, but not hot. I dust it off occasionally, carefully, of course.

 So:

My Hub 3 is in Router Mode

Turn the power switch off on the back of the Hub. Done again and again

Ensure the Hub is upright, in a well-ventilated location, and, if at all possible, out of direct sunlight. Yes it is well ventilated, in the shadow and upright.

I think I've followed all the recommendations I found on your website and forum to eliminate any issues and get the Hub 3 working properly again. I think it's time to have it checked out by your specialist.

  • Hello Adam_221

Thanks for your post and trying a pinhole reset.

Sorry to hear this didn't help
I'd like to investigate this for you and arrange a swap.

In the meantime can you make sure the Hub is well ventilated and away from any direct sources of heat.
If you don't mind, I'll need to send you a private message to pass security.
If you can check your logo at the top right of your screen, that would be great.

If the red LED persists after a pinhole reset, the Hub should be swapped out. This red LED is the overheat warning and should be working correctly. If you wait here a couple of days a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss directly with you.

Pinhole reset I did as well. The hub is old, maybe its time has come.
