Packet Loss… Ants Possibly Ruined Coaxial Cable

I’m getting consistent packet loss that is intermittently losing connection on live services such as streaming services and games.

I’ve looked under the hatch were the coaxial cable comes to the house and it is over run by ants… I think they may have damaged the shielding on the cable leading to the packet loss I am now experiencing.

The packet loss may look minor but it is enough to loose connection and loose enjoyment in all media due to the unexpected constant random interrupts.

I suspect I will need an engineer to check the cable for possible damage.
