Hub 5 started beeping at night

So upgraded to hub 5 about 2 weeks ago. Initially everything was fine - technically it still is other than 1 small issue, around midnight it starts beeping, 3 quick beeps in succession then stops for maybe 3 seconds then 3 beeps. This goes on and on. I don't know what time it stopped since I went to bed at 430am but it was still going then.

It doesn't beep during the day - or I'd say it just needs resetting or something. It's only at night. The light stays solid white too so it's not a connection or update issue.

Any ideas? The beeping is quite piercing though not overly loud it's very annoying.

Edit to add I've already tried the old turn it off and on again, checked all the cables which are fine, everything connected is still connected.

Try a pinhole reset and let the Hub reboot itself.  Is there any other kit in the same area that may be beeping?

AFAIK there is nothing in a VM hub that is capable of making a beeping sound.

In a similar past topic (where a customer complained of a beeping hub) it eventually turned out to be an alarm clock hidden out of sight IIRC.

Your description of the sound sounds more like a device such as a security alarm, smoke alarm etc. give a fault notification such as a flat battery.

Easiest way to check is to turn hub off at 23:45 and see if anything then bleeps. Turn back on at say 00:15.

Smoke Alarms or the Carbon Monoxide Detectors that need replacing are the usual suspects.
