Starting a discussion elsewhere

After a long while of not visiting the community, I’m back. Problem is that, whilst I can navigate round all the various sections, only two of them - Community Natter and Tech Natter - are displaying a Start Discussion button above the Recent Discussions title text, with the various discussions list below said title.

Why is that?

Have I been excommunicated for my long absence, or what?

    I don't know if it's because I'm a forum VIP but I can still see the Start a Discussion button on the other forums (screenshot below)

    markmywords  If you add to this post the reason/problem that you have that requires your wish to contact VM then I'll try to answer the query, or see if I can move that particular post and create a new thread for you in the appropriate forum board

    Only the 2 Off Topic streams still have Start a Discussion for me.

    The move towards Read Only has started.

  • Hi Markmywords.

    I'm in the same boat.

    Come one VM, what is going on.

    I'm having serious issues with my V6 box, I think it is "goosed", "cattle trucked", or maybe broken!!

    I want to start a thread under TV - V6 but can't so will just have to piggy back another thread.

    same here! ws able to post in COMMUNITY NATTER but no place else, currently awaiting 'approval' ?!

    Have tried to create a new post in various subs on here and there is no START A DISCUSSION button?!

    Google searched why there was no option and found a thread that linked to Community Natter and oddly THAT forum has the option available!

    Then I checked what happened if I logged out and bizarrely the button appears! (see below)

    tried dumping cookies for Virgin site, but that hasn't solved my START A DISCUSSION issue.

    All i wanted to do was post to discuss why I keep getting intermittent drops out that appear to be Google DNS related and not router outages.... {sigh}

    whats going on {confused}
