I have been facing an issue in VMConnect app. Whenever I pause a iphone accessing my wifi, it gets paused. When I close VMConnect and reopen I see the same phone is unpaused.
Can Someone help here and guide me what I need to do ?
So whats the solution ? How could I do that. I want to reduce mobile access for my kids.
Have you looked into restrictions available on Apple devices if you are looking to control an iPhone?

I believe Microsoft and Google also offer similar features.
Buy a AP that can do many SSID with time access I'm not sure if there are AP you can get that can linkup to pause a given SSID by app on your phone like but timed access is found on most AP but may depend on how many times in the day you want the reduce access.
The only why to do Paused Device right is per SSID per person to then Pause the give SSID even then VM would make a mess of it.

Wi-Fi Pausing is an over two decade old idea that is now easily defeated by a 2025 mobile or laptop.
Be careful not to fill the Hub with ever more Paused entries, it is the fastest way to find all sorts of kit has stopped working and the errors reported can be very obtuse.
Have you confirmed the iPhone's MAC address has remained the same at this time? A lot of modern devices rotate MAC addresses as a security feature. One of the reasons that MAC address pausing fails.
