Volt has not been applied

Hello,

My son has an O2 sim and I have VM broadband. My son activated Volt on the O2 website on the 20th August, it has since been more than 14 days but nothing has been applied on my end. My son has already received volt on his sim but no sign of the broadband being boosted. The address are the same both accounts however under different names, will I need to manually contact VM because of this difference or should I wait a bit longer?

    AFAIK the O2 SIM will need to be registered to the same account holder as the VM account.

      Providing the address on the O2 account matches the address on the Virgin Media account then Volt can be applied whether it’s in your name or someone else’s in your household.   The Volt benefits are usually  added automatically within 14 days. This will happen unless you were already a customer of both before 18 October 2021. In this case, you’ll need to go into My O2 to activate your benefits.

    To confirm have you had the volt boost once before?

    If so the speed only gets boosted once.

      Hi Matthew,

      My internet has not been volt boosted before. The speed is the same as the package I bought, nothing has been boosted even after a few weeks. Could you have a look into this for me?
