Why is there so many issues with virgin 360 recordings

There is so many issues with virgin tv360. When you go to recordings it only shows part of them unless you select all recordings. Also if set series link then it records repeats. You can't change this and the only way to delete them is to record them and then delete them. If try to delete them before they are recorded it only lets you do that if cancel the series link. This was never an issue with the V6. I don't get the backstop when it's the same box just with different software. Yes you get voice search but seems like the gain isn't worth the loss. Am sure there is other issues I haven't mentioned yet

  • The images of your recordings are really to show your most recent recordings.

    When setting a series link select the Advanced settings and then select New Only, you also have This episode only, From this episode onwards, All from series xx only, All from series xx and onwards, New episodes only and All available episodes.

    If you want to edit your Series link when you have the View All screen you will see something like this ðŸ–Š next to the bin on the right, if you click on that you will have some options to change your link.

    360 has been nothing but a pain since i "upgraded" to it, the software is useless and the V6 box and software were alot better..

    Yes, many more issues and missing features (as many of them are TiVo patents they're almost certainly not going to appear in the future).

    Some of the missing features are as follows; Wishlists (where you can set the box to record programs on certain subjects or featuring certain people), undelete, series link+, series link manager, suggestions, setting of series links for programs not in the current TV guide, ethernet control, keyboard support via USB, switching between tuners with constant buffering, skip-back on fast-forward, quickplay, default recording options, cancelling individual recordings from a series link, multi-channel series links, radio channels allowing recording of radio, separation of recordings between boxes, watching recordings when internet is not available and probably a few others I've forgotten.

  • If you access planned recordings and choose the edit option (pen on the right) choose "New episodes only" under Record option
