Virgin 360 - recordings
Question, when you have multi room each box allows you to record up to six programmes at a time on each box, with the virgin 360 system recordings are pooled, i.e. you have to select your own recordings by way of selecting "recorded on this box". Does this mean that you can only record a maximum of 6 now as oppose to the 12 on two boxes?
Additionally if one person deletes a recorded programme, which the other user has not watched do you have to recover the deleted item again now as oppose to being able to delete your own recording on your own box as recordings are now pooled.
If the above is the case, I would rather not do the upgrade and go back to the older version.
[MOD EDIT: Subject title changed for clarity]

You can record a maximum of 6 on each box providing they are both main boxes ( they were both migrated from V6 boxes ). You can fine tune the recordings between boxes by clicking on the red Record button, then on the next screen click Advanced Options, then on the next screen click on Choose TV Box, then select the box, then click on Record. That program will then be recorded on that box going forward, even if the default recording box is one of the others

There is no undelete function on the 360.
