Why am I paying for Sky SportsF1 and not able to watch it for a month?

I am paying for a sky sports pack and not able to watch Sky Sports F1. The channel I had to buy the entire pack for. So thrilled. To put cherry on top, the virgin media customer service on WhatsApp as well as a technical agent (who by the way hung up on me while we were talking) over the phone could neither understand the issue not able to resolve it. This is really horrible experience for the awesome amount of money we are charged. No one I talk to knows anything about anything. This is probably the WORST service and customer service I have ever received.

    This is not Virgin's fault. Sky has temporarily replaced the F1 channel with Sky Sports Darts on all platforms. The F1 channel will be back in the new year.

    You are paying for the sky sports pack.  They have put the darts on the F1 channel as there are no races until March.   It'll probably change back mid January.  It's a sky decision and nothing to do with Virgin media.

      And for that they wasted an hour of my life and were trying to “fix” it. Also have booked an engineer visit so that it can be fixed. Wow!!

    Hi AlphaDelta 

    The current F1 season finished on 8th December, so viewers won't be missing any live F1 coverage.

    In the meantime Sky has rebranded the F1 channel to Sky Darts for the duration of the PDC World Darts Championships. 

    The info below should give you some indication of what's available with F1 and when.

    The first race of the new F1 season is on 14th March 2025, however the F1 channel will be back on 6th January 2025.

    In the meantime there are F1 highlights on the Sky Sports Mix channel, and also F1 highlights/specials available via On Demand.

    The Sky F1 2024 Season Review show will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Main Event UHD and Sky Sports Mix at 9pm on 24th December.

    To preview the new season the F1 75 Live: 2025 Formula One Season Launch Event will also be broadcast  live on 18th February 2025 and all the pre season tests between February 26-28th 2025.
