Technical issue on Sky Sports+ red button

Upgraded to 360 from V6 yesterday. Tried accessing the live games via Sky Sports+ red button but although all the games are appearing on the screen when I press watch live am getting "There is a technical issue, please try again later".

This was last night, tried again today for the 12.30 games and getting same message. Was same for Rugby League games last night.

The 2 games being broadcast on the Sky Football and Sky Sports+ (508) channel can be accessed via the red button. 

Before I contact customer service wonder if anybody else has this issue and found a way to resolve it. 

 

 

  • Try a reboot.   No issues here.

      Thanks for the reply. Pleased to hear all good for you. Tried the on and off at the socket trick, no luck. Will try again before the 3pm kick offs. If still no luck will have to be customer service.

    Hate to say it, but the EFL games are fine working with the old red button app on my TiVO V6 boxes. Still in the old degraded SD, but at least they are working.

      Some SD streams are there on the V6 but not all of them. You won’t be able to watch all the additional games on V6

    Did you use /help/check/status  to see if there were any known problems?

    And if nothing nothing was showing  the automated Service Status number  0800 561 0061?  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

  • I was watching the Millwall v Watford football match at 12.30 yesterday (Saturday 10 August) on Sky Sports+ and it froze a couple of times then showed the message "Technical issue on Sky Sports+, please try again later". After a minute or so it started again - anyone else had/have this problem? I've done al the usual checks on my system and all is ok

      Sky's own subscribers were also affected by a number of technical issues, including the one experienced by yourself.   See < here >
