More failed recordings now with 360

Before upgrading recordings rarely failed but now it seems very hit and miss. Tonight channel 5 play for today said it couldn't record because the scheduled changed but as far as I can see it broadcast at exactly the correct time. 

Ive had other series link for only connect on bbc 2 hat failed every week "due to a technical error" until I rebooted and now it seems ok.

It a shame that it is so unreliable because I like the new user interface.

  • The first question is the box "on" when the recording's have failed, if you aren't watching and the box is in standby then it needs to be set to fast start or active start to wake up and do the recordings.

      Yes it was on i was watching iplayer and when the programme finished went to watch the recording that should have started (I like to fast forward through the adverts) and saw the failure message.

        Play for Today has the Start again symbol next to it, so you can play and watch it from the beginning. (You could have also set it to record on CH5+1.)

        If you go to TV Shows > Channels > 5  you will find it's already there and available to watch until 13th December.

        It also  available on the Ch5 app too.
