Every time i try and hit record says : Sorry we could not do this fir you now please try again later and if I hit record again says record series or delete recording so if i go into my recording just a red circle with exclamation mark inside it next to my supposed recording instead of a red dot. If i go into it says delete recording

Have you tried using the Advanced recordings option after you press the red record button to see if that allows you to set the recording. You could also try using the TVGO app. I have recently had a problem since the 5.15 update where it cancelled a series link and using the "New Only" option to reset the series link which is the way it was set received similar messages, had to use the "from this episode" option.
Can you give an example of what you are trying to record so other people can test.
Yes tried that even the app says recording set but when i go into my recordings it shows it but says delete recording, episodes,about this series
