ethernet control

The 360 box does not have Ethernet control.  Does that mean apps such as iPlayer and ITVX will be viewed through Wifi?

Strange, I thought all TV boxes had the option for ethernet?

The connectivity requirements between TV360 & V6 are identical. The TiVo-firmware on a V6 allows certain functions to be controlled "remotely" over the Ethernet connection.

There is no such function in the Horizon-firmware on a TV360 - but this has no bearing on the streaming apps which still use an internet connection, best over Ethernet.

Why best over Ethernet? I understand the Ethernet port on the V6/TV360 hardware is only 100mb.

No streaming service requires anything like 100Mbps - not even it's UHD, HDR and Dolby Atmos. And wired trumps wireless every time.
