I was thinking off taking advantage of free 360 box, I have had a tivo for many years.
My television is a standard Panasonic 1080 full HD TV, and its a lovely, not got round to forking out for 4 k yet
Would 360 box be compatible with this TV

If you read Tavis75 post he just about covers the missing features between V6/TiVo and the 360/Horizon software that the boxes run. If you don't want to lose any of these or you don't use them it's your choice there is no going back. I miss being able to switch between 6 channels/tuners and being able to rewind, also miss the quick play option.

It may well be compatible, but you'll find its a downgrade.
Each to their own Mr_K. It's like Marmite. Some love it, some hate it.
I'm perfectly happy with the 360, in fact I prefer it to the tivo based set top boxes, but as I've mentioned in numerous threads, I don't see it as a downgrade as didn't use all the bells and whistles on those boxes so I don't miss them.
It's much much faster than the old TiVo but doesn't have the same features... It does have some better ones though. It'll work fine with your FHD TV.
Don't bother you will lose a lot of features, such as back button, recording hiccups, I wish I never upgraded, it's a down grade in my opinion.
