360 upgrade Recordings

I’ve just upgraded to Virgin 360. When I did the upgrade I got a message saying it had failed and to try again. I did try again and got a message saying turn off and reboot the box again first. I did that and when it came back up, it came back up as 360, so seems to have worked after all. 
Everything seems ok apart from the recordings. Series link recordings seem to work but individually recorded programmes only record partially. Any advice?

    Series link recordings seem to work have you checked. How are you settling the individual recordings and how much is missing.

      Thanks all. The issue resolved itself so perhaps it was me all along 😁. No further issues though so far

    We're sorry to hear you're having an issue with your recordings since the box was upgraded. Where there are recording issues, this usually points to a hard drive issue. Can you please try a reset on the box to see if this resolves things? 

    You're offered two choices when resetting the 360. Please follow Settings > System> Factory Reset >

    • First option - Keep recordings - Select this one. This is not a complete factory reset so you won't lose your recordings, however you will need to sign into apps such as  Netflix, Prime, iPlayer and ITV Hub again.
    • Second Option - Format disk ( selecting this one will delete everything including recordings,  planned recordings and profiles)

    Please try the first option and let us know if the recording issues continue.
