360 upgrade not recording

Hi, I upgraded to Virgin TV 360 on my TiVo box recently.

When I try to record TV I am getting a message saying “can’t record this, please try again later”

Switched off at wall and tried again but same message.

It accepts if you select ‘record series’ but when you go in later it has a small red circle with an exclamation mark beside the recording which has failed.

Anyone help with this issue please ?

  • Thanks everyone. Engineer called today and replaced the box. All good now. 👍

  • Just to rule out a possible hard drive problem can you still pause and rewind live TV.

    If that works I would try experimenting with the Advanced recording options to see if that make any difference, I had a problem with a series link that stopped working after the 5.15 update it was set using the New Only option I had to reset it using the From this episode option.

      Hi, thanks for the quick reply. No, I can’t pause or rewind live TV. Error message Says Channel Failed CS2000 We’re currently unable to show this channel. Even though the channel is on and playing.

        Also the hard drive is showing as full and there’s only two programmmes recorded on it
