360 box deleted all recordings

Hi,

My 360 box has deleted all recordings (this is the 2nd time). all recordings were there this morning and come in from work and they have all disappeared along with all planned recordings.

Anyone know why this would happen and if the recordings are recoverable?

I'm really regretting moving to 360, I've had nothing but issues since I upgraded...

Thanks,

Gary

With 360 all your recordings might have been on one box unless you specified which box to record on, the view all default view shows recordings across both boxes.

You could try pausing and rewinding some live TV to check the boxes but any box deleting recorded and planned recordings needs replacing.

You can either call Virgin on 150 from a Virgin phone, mobile or landline, or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone to report a fault or wait for one of the forum team to respond which might be 2 to 3 days.

      Hi gporter1983

Welcome back to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear of your set-top box recording concerns.

Can you try to see if you're able to use the pause, rewind and fast-forward functions on live TV, to see if you've any issues with this or error codes at all that flag up?

Let us know how you get on.

        Hi Carley,

Pause/rewind/ fast forward etc all work fine on both boxes. it's just the recordings and scheduled recordings that have disappeared a couple times

This is usually a problem associated with older migrated V6 TiVO boxes. Unlike TiVO, V360 Horizon is a server driven system that uses your box/boxes as recording locations. If there are any issues with communication with the boxes or hard disk response problems it can wipe the recording list from the server. Unfortunately, there is no recovery system for getting the recordings "back". If it continues happening the only option is box replacement (1 master V360 box & a Stream/Flex box for the multiroom access).

I have moved your post to the V360 support board so that the forum team see your post can follow up with you in due course.
