Sign in problems

Been trying to get into my online account, received an text message saying the email address we have no longer exists, is there an easy way to sort this on line tried various different ways to access our account so I can make some changes, the thought of having to ring up frightens me as it normally a bloody nightmare. I have account number area code but getting nowhere
