Login issues, try this:

I have been having difficulties logging onto my account, however I have found a solution.

  1. Enter your username as normal, and click on 'sign in', when you get the error message just keep refreshing your browser, this will eventually take you to the password stage.
  2. Enter your password and repeat step 1, keep refreshing your browser and eventually you will be signed in.

Refreshing your browser when trying to log into Virgin Media can sometimes help because it forces your browser to reload the latest version of the login page, potentially clearing any temporary issues like outdated data stored in your browser cache or cookies that might be causing login problems.

    You don't mention which Virgin Media a/c your are having difficulty logging onto.

    But what is described is exactly what we see when attempting to login to this Forum via Firefox, 
    either the login page does not trigger the Firefox User/Password to fully populate the login dialogue ( Username not present ) and / or endless failure to login errors.

    Plus in Firefox the Forum menu are close to unusable.

    None of these issues exist using a Chromium browser - I've switched to Edge in order to login reliably and to make this post.

    Firefox login failure looks like this : 

    Note even with the correct Username & Password present, 
    but the login process is totally stuck in an endless failure loop : 


    Login screen missing the Username.  It is impossible to login from this dialogue even entering the Username will always result in repeated login failure message shown below.

    Note this is not a bad User/Password situation, the login process is not even getting that far.


    Here we see what happens once the Username is typed in, the result is no progress at all
    repeated failures of the login screen to even attempt to validate the credentials.


     








  • I had the issue with logging into, the normal virgin account to access TV app download and other services, using chrome but by contiously refreshing the browser it eventually allowed me into the account, its an issue that has to be looked at by virgin, but at the moment I can now log straight into my account without any issues.
