Brand new broadband customer but my account is showing inactive

I am at my wits end and if this isn't sorted tomorrow, Virgin can come and take their equipment back.  How on earth can a new account show as inactive.  What's worse is Virgin don't seem to give a stuff as it's been four days and nothing.  Surely, reactivating an account should take minutes.  Am I being penalised for a previous tenant's behaviour.  If so, that's outrageous.  This sucks!!!

    What has happened?

    There can only be one active account under per house hold, so there cannot be two account under one house hold.

    How come the account is being reactivated are you taking it over from someone or starting fresh?
