WiFi Pod Overheating and making a Buzzing Noise

All,

Last night I smelt a burning smell but couldn’t find the source of it. This morning I heard a buzzing noise which I traced to my WiFi Pod. When i touched it, it was very hot to the touch. So i turned it off at the mains, left it for a while to cool down then turned it back on. It seemed ok for a while, no buzzing noise and not overly hot. But it has started to buzz again.

I did try the above again and also rebooting it, but it’s still overly warm and buzzing. Any suggestions please?

These are known to overheat and risk fires. Remove it and request a replacement. If it's one of the old white ones, insist on one of the newer black ones as a replacement. They are also a better specification.
