Noisy WiFi Pod - Buzzing

I've just received a WiFi pod and it's making a noise like a fan is buzzing inside. Is this normal or is this a fault?

    There are a few reports here about noisy and/or hot Pods. It sounds like it may need replacing?  If you wait here a couple of days a VM Mod should pick this up and discuss with you.

      Thank you. That was my thoughts too. I'm loathed to get onto the phone again as Ive spent hours calling since mid November to get the pod in the first place... There seems to be no real process to ordering them! 

       

      If a VM Mod is ready, the sound is getting louder albeit the signal seems to be OK.
