Phone Switchover - when?

I was going to be switched in February but Virgin announced they were pausing landline switchover. 

Can you volunteer to be switched to digital?

    Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community. This is currently paused and you'll be emailed/sent a letter when the switchover is going to resume. 

    Is there a reason you're wanting this to happen currently, having any issues with the current landline?

    It's been crackly for a long time, probably due to the street cabinet door being open all the time. I use my mobile almost all the time so it's not a big issue but would be nice to know when it's due to happen.

      Can you confirm if the phone is connected at the mains or an extension socket? Also how many other pieces of equipment are connected at the point?
