Phone Not Working - Check Line Cord Message

Phone has just stopped working and handset is showing "Please Check Line Cord" message. 

Have checked all cabling and rebooted the router with no effect. Is this a problem at Virginmedia's end?

    Looking at a few things from here, we can see you have been in touch with our Faults Team and already booked a service call.

    Would you be able to let us know how the visit goes please.

    That way we can happily step in if any further help is needed.

    You can also view, change or cancel your appointment online or via the MyVM app 
    by 4pm the day before the appointment.
