Perm Call Num Suppress not working :(

Hi, I have my number permanently withheld. On my bill it states exactly this 'Perm Call Num Suppress' as an add on. I have made a couple of calls to a tradesman and to family where they have said my number has shown. I called virgin and they said that this was fixed but I needed to reboot my router just to make sure - done. Rang family and they said my number is still coming through - how can this be fixed?

    Hi Emmyboo

Whilst waiting for VM to permanently activate this feature for you, have you tried dialling 141 followed by the number you are calling?

    Info below from https://www.virginmedia.com/help/landline/withold-number

    How to temporarily withhold number

To withhold your number, simply dial 141 before the phone number you’d like to call. You’ll need to do this any time you want to conceal your number.

Hi, I have been dialling 141 before the number but this doesn't work - I just called my work and they then called me back on my landline as the number came up on their caller display! 😞 I assumed it always worked 😞
