Call divert function doesn't work

When I try to set a call divert to my mobile, nothing happens. 
I've followed these instructions
https://www.virginmedia.com/help/landline/set-up-call-diversion

It tells me that 1765 doesn't work
All the other codes i.e  Asterix21 Asterix  or Asterix70 as advised does nothing  

A customer service rep just told me that it is enabled on my account. I said it doesn't work, she tried to look up the instructions on how to do it and then we got cut off for the 2nd time.
Hoping you can advise me how to do this

  • Hi, No. I haven't spoken with anyone since posting this.
    They have fixed a phone fault now, but I cant get call divert to work.
