Red light on hub 3

It seems like quite a common problem but the power light on my hub 3 is showing solid red. Virgin help pages say it's overheating or other problem with the hub. Ventilation holes are clear on all sides and I've rebooted it as per instructions with no solution. It seems just warm to me, not really hot.

Can someone help please?
