Being charged a £35 activation fee on my new fibre install, it was supposed to be free for Black Friday

Hello,

I don't know if any kindly mods/staff could take pity on me and figure this out for me?

I signed up for Gig1 (Volt) fibre during the Black Friday promotion period, and when I signed up it said "three months free and no setup fees" on the site:

And when I filled it all out and it emailed me the provisional contract it also said £0 in one off charges (so for the first three months I should currently just be paying the £6 a month for symmetrical uploads).

But I've just had an email saying my first bill will be Jan 2nd and includes the 2x monthly £6 fees for the uploads (fine, as it should be) and then says I owe a £35 activation charge.

I think this £35 should have been credited back as part of the black friday promotion, but I can't find out how I can ask anyone to fix it.

I went through the help system online and got stuck in a loop of FAQs and it wouldnt take me to a number or a chatbot or anything, and I'd really appreciate a human being that could assist me!  Someone said the forum is a much more helpful place, fingers crossed!

Thanks 🙂
