Disconnection

My daughter and I had our phones disconnected 7th October after Virgin Media messed up our broadband contract renewal and forgot to include the phones. 

After speaking to 10 different people over a course of approx 6 hours, several letters on the app, and lots of promises, we are STILL disconnected 3 weeks and 2 days later! 

I am just off the phone to another representative (when they finally transferred me to the correct department) to be told that nothing has been done and It will take 3 to 5 working days to complete! They used the word "escalate" just like the others!

Daughter is in TY year and all her educational contacts have that number so God knows what has been missed! This on top of everything else not having your numbers causes a lot of upset.

If have contacted Comreg re this and they are currently on the case. 

The service is unacceptable, a problem (that they started) that could have been resolved in a couple of days is now going to take over 4 weeks!

      Sorry to see the issues you are facing with the VM sim cards.  You've mentioned that your " Daughter is in TY year" - I take that to mean transitional year, and also that you've  contacted "Comreg re this and they are currently on the case"

      Sadly you won't be able to receive any Staff help on these forums as they are for VM UK customers and they don't have access to the Irish systems as they are a separate company.

      If you to to the https://www.virginmedia.ie/contact/ there should be link to an instant messenger in the bottom left of that page so you can chat to VM staff. There's also  alink on that page to raise or complaint.  Or you can contact them by dialling 1908.
