Unable to switch to e-billing
I have looked up several threads on this forum, as well as the official instructions, navigated the website and the app while logged in: there is no option to switch to e-billing; this issue has been going on for several months.
On the website:
https://my.virginmedia.com/discover/welcome/your-bill/ebilling.html_1 has incorrect instructions
https://www.virginmedia.com/support/help/billing-and-payments has an option labelled 'sign to e-billing', but that loads https://www.virginmedia.com/help/billing-and-payment/make-a-payment. At the bottom of this page there is indeed a section on e-billing, that states:
- Sign in to Your Account
- Select My profile at the top of the page
- Go to the eBilling section and select Switch to eBilling
- Follow the instructions to complete your registration
Those four steps are just not there.
I had e-billing, but after moving home I was put back on paper billing (this was never requested)
This seems deliberate from Virgin Media, so that they can charge customers extra.
Is it so hard to fix this very simple issue?
