Changing to E-billing

Why can't I change to e-billing via the website.  I thought I had changed it when in discussion with Virgin but my latest bill shows a charge for a paper bill which I didn't request

Can I ask why you show a plan for changing tone-billing via your website which doesn’t exist i.e “your Profile”

Thanks for your response but the "Your profile" doesn't exist to allow me to change to e-billing  As I say I thought I had done this but, as I am finding out with Virgin, what they agree to and then do is completely opposite from pone another

        Hi Maryb4,

Thank you for your reply and update.

I can see you are current speaking with my colleague via private message.

With this being the case, we will continue to assist you from there.

        Thanks,

Apologies for the issues faced Copthornemike,

    Welcome back to the community.

Are you able to try this instead?

    - Select "Account Settings"

    - Then "Account Details"

From there are you able to change your "communication preference" to E-Billing?

    Let us know,

Thanks for getting back Kain but still no joy / progress 😖. I can access Account Settings as suggested but in the Communication Preference the only option is Format. When I click edit the only options are LargePrint, Audio,Braille 1, Braille 2. So only for changing accessibility & appearance? I tried clicking an Update option, just goes back to the above options!

Frustrating - maybe the agents who said they would change me from paper billing to e- billing had the same problem gave up? Unfortunately no communication to confirm and I continue to be charged a monthly fee for paper billing!

  • Frustrated

I changed to E-billing in April and I am still getting paper bills in September. My account shows I should be on e billing but this is typical of Virgin. When my contract finishes I am going with Talk Talk, Virgin have never had the human touch, they are just a bunch of robots, they can't even reply to my chat messages. They must all be shirking from home.

I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your account changes, I would be happy to take a further look into this for you but first I would need to confirm a few details via private message, please look out for my message and we can get started.
      Kind Regards,

ditto just realised since i moved address in march i have received a paper bill never gave it a thought.  at old address i always had ebilling i never asked for a paper bill when i moved here . and following all info in this thread there is now way in my virgin media acc to select a ebill option and my mobile number in my virgin acc is wrong i change it to my number it says saved. when i look again a unknown mobile number is listed again. following info in my paper bill for ebilling gets you know where. Regards Chris

  • just adding here as everything said by customers mirrors my current experience, we have been on ebilling for 10+years, updated our home address, and are suddenly being charged for paper bills that we don't even receive, here is no visible option to select e-billing on either web browser or android app.

Hey cyberleish, thank you for reaching out and I am so sorry to hear this.

Please remember you would need to make a brand new account if you have just moved.

Then to change to ebilling please follow this guide here

Please do keep us updated on how you get on. Cheers
