Ultimate Volt Ending 19th March

I have the Ultimate Volt bundle that ends on 19th March. I’m worried I’m going to get a large bill in a few days because the discounts end. There are no renewal options in my account. I’d like to renew at the same price I’m currently paying. I know Ultimate Volt doesn’t exist now. I’d like bigger combo bundle with phone and gig 1 broadband because I don’t use the second box. I’ve been a customer for 20 years and always ring 30 days before. Can I get a change of package now or wait until 17 March. I’m hoping to stay as always been happy with Virgin Media for 20 years.

All your bills and monthly contract will show the standard, undiscounted price of your package, and the amount & expiry date of your time-limited discounts.

From that you can easily see that when your minimum term expires, but contract for service otherwise continues, what you'll be paying.

Your best time to renegotiate a new package is likely to be when you're within your disconnection notice period - i.e. ~30 days before end of minimum term.

Thought 30 days and under would be the best time. My next bill will be for around £177 because the promotions end on 19th March. Might have to take the hit then.

You could try calling Virgin and select the "leaving option" and speak to retentions to see what they offer, if you go "offshore" and I suspect you will, double check what they offer it could be cheaper but might not include everything you have at the moment.

If you start checking your MVM account you will probably also receive an offer there, can't guarantee this will happen before you roll over onto your full price contact for a month.
