Switch to ebilling

Hello

like countless other people on here I am unable to opt out of paper bills, which I don’t recall opting into in the first place. I have read various ways to opt into ebilling and none of them work.  Please help sort this out for me.

    Sorry to hear you are having a little difficulty updating your billing preferences. You should be able to switch to E-billing via the instructions 👉 here - sorry to hear if this hasn't been working for you!

        I am having the same issue with this and have not been able to switch it over to e bill for the last 1 year despite being told my new contract from last April would not have the paper bill.

        i have also raised my own thread on this today. Would really appreciate any help to get the switch to the ebill

      I am sorry to hear you are experiencing some issues switching to Ebilling.

      Have you tried the below steps:

      •    Click on the Settings tile.
      •    Click on Account Details.
      •    Scroll to Communication Preference and click Edit.
      •    Select "eBills, email, text" from the dropdown menu.
      •    Click Update.

        Hello I also can't change to a ebilling after following all advice in many different threads  Please can I have help

  • Hi I am also trying to switch to e-billing however I cannot access the e-billing page. I can see from the url that "My Profile" tries to take me myprofile view page but I get redirected instead to the account settings page. From this account settings section I can only change my contact preference to:
    Large print
    Audio
    Braille
    Email/Text/Phone/Post

    There is no ebilling option.

      Have you tried following the steps outlined here? Are you trying this via a mobile device or a desktop?

  • I have the exact same issue. I am unable to opt out of paper bills, which I don’t recall opting into in the first place. If anything, I demand a refund for its inconvenience and very sneaky way of charging extra money to unsuspecting customers. None of the forums or suggestions provided by Virgin Media work in the slightest.

      Sorry to hear of the paper billing issues and switching to eBilling, we understand the confusion this can cause and appreciate you raising this via the forums. 

       

      Details on how to switch to eBilling can be found here. If you have tried these and they are one of the methods that hasn't worked let us know and we can send you a Private Message to arrange this. In regards to the charges, these are outlined on each monthly bill.

  • I have the same issue as the entire Virgin Media customer base regarding this long unaddressed issue. Could someone help me switch to E-billing? Thanks.

      In order to look into this for you, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner. 

      If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.

  • I am also unable to switch to eBilling. I've been trying for over a year now through phone calls and every time being promised that paper bills are removed from my account... only to again receive one the next month.

    I've also tried doing this online on Virgin Media account dashboard... also didn;t work and now I don;t see any options when logged in related to type of billing.

    As with many others I feels like this is completely deliberate - simply a way to charge a little bit more each month on top of package.

    Can someone please remove paper billing from my account - I don't need or want it

  • Please can you also sort this out for me. Paper bills started randomly arriving last month and I never signed up to them so have been charged unnecessarily. And as posted before there is no obvious way to switch back to ebilling. And there is no way of speaking to anyone directly about this! So frustrating.
